ACADEMY is an online marketplace that allows you to learn.Students and teachers can share their knowledge in a course-based system.Instructors and teachers can create unlimited courses, upload videos, and other documents to suit their expertise. Students can also enroll in these courses to improve their skills and start an online business.
Quick start guide for course instructor/admin
Before you use the software, please read all documentation.
Follow the "Installation & Update" guide to install the application.
Register as a site administrator to manage your system
First, update your System Settings. Next, go to the Settings option in the left sidebar menu.You should also provide a valid YouTube API Key and Vimeo API Key on System Settings.
After successfully updating the Settings, you can click on the Categories option in the left-hand menu to create Categories.
You can create sub-categories for a particular Category after you have created a Category.To create Subcategories, go to the Categories page. Select a category and click on the Action dropdown menu. Then select Manage Sub-categories.This will take you to Sub-categories.You can now click on the "+Add Subcategory" button to fill out all required fields and create a Sub-category.
It's time to take some courses.You must carefully create a course as it will contain all video lessons.After clicking the "+Add Course" button, you will be taken to the Courses section. Would you please fill out all fields?
Each Course should contain at least one Section.You will need to add a lesson in a particular section at the end of each course.Now you must create at least one section.Navigate to the Courses page. Select a course and click on the action dropdown menu. Then, choose Manage Section.You will see the empty section list after clicking Manage Section.Click the "+Add Section” button to create one.
Once you have created a course and sections or multiple sections, you can now create lessons.Let's go back to the Course page. Select a course and click on the Action dropdown button. Then select Manage Lesson.The list of lessons you have created will be displayed.Click on the "+Add Lesson” button to add a new lesson.
Quick start guide for course students
The application has already been installed. Students can access the application URL.
Every time a student visits the URL, the home page will be displayed.The home page allows students to search for specific courses, view the top courses and the top ten most recent courses, and access category-based courses.If a student is not yet registered, they can sign in.Logging in is possible for students who are already registered.Students can add courses to their Shopping Carts and add them to their Wishlists.
Clicking on a thumbnail of a course will bring up the details.You can view the course details page, which contains the basic information such as the title, description, outcomes, prerequisites, lesson list, instructor details, rating, and reviews.Here is a complete course overview.
Students must add courses to their cart if they wish to purchase courses
If a student adds a course to Shopping Cart, they can click on the Go To Cart button to view their cart items. This button appears when hovering over the cart icon in the header
Students can delete courses from their shopping cart page.
The total cost of all cart items is displayed on the right sidebar of the shopping cart page.The Checkout button is located below that.Students can click the Checkout button to pay for their courses.
After successfully checking out, students can view their courses in the My Courses menu.Click on the header to hover over the student's profile image.
All courses purchased by a student will be displayed on the My Courses page.Click on the thumbnail to play the lesson from the My Courses Page.
