Introducing Post & Products Scheduler / Restrict Access
The WordPress Posts & WooCommerce Products Restrict Access / Notebook (WPPS) plugin is a powerful instrument where the Website admin can program or restrict the accessibility of articles, custom articles (such as WordPress webpages, bbpress articles, or some other 3rd party custom articles ) and product visibility by"date principles" and for consumer purposes. WooCommerce products may also be set as"Unpurchasable" (observable but cannot be added to cart).
HOW IT WORKS
It is effortless; once activated and installed, the site admin will come across a brand new"Scheduler" menu on the main menu where he can access the intervening rules configurator. With this menu, the store admin may set up scheduling principles to mechanically publish/unpublish posts, customized articles (such as WordPress webpages, bbpress articles, or some other 3rd party custom articles ), and goods. He could also easily confine access to contents by consumer functions. In the event you're restricting posts/pages by consumer function, you might even opt to redirect to a webpage.
NOTE: To limit access not to logged users, you've to choose a minimum of one part from the consumer function selection segment.
SET PRODUCT AS UNPURCHASABLE
Characteristic compatible with Measurement Price Calculator
Shop admin, for WooCommerce goods, can utilize the exceptional Unpurchasable alternative. Allowing this and placing visibility into Visible the chosen product will be observable but cannot be inserted into the cart from the clients (or those belonging to the functions chosen on the functions limit alternative area) because of the"add to cart" button elimination.
After the Unpurchasable interval, the store admin could select whether the item needs to be set as Purchasable or Unpublished.
Throughout the Unpurchasable interval can also be proactively exhibited two distinct messages on merchandise and store pages.
Notice: Be certain the theme you're using is properly employing the woocommerce_after_single_product, woocommerce_loop_add_to_cart_link, and woocommerce_single_product_summary activities from the store and only product webpage (since the woocommerce reference templates do) differently the plugin can't hook correctly into the theme to eliminate the add to cart. All nicely designed themes properly apply these actions.
Notice: If the WooCommerce Availability Scheduler plugin is busy, the unpurchasable feature will not work.
SCHEDULING/RESTRICT ACCESS RULES
The site admin can delegate to a pair of posts/products (straight picking a set of classes ) multiple scheduling principle. Each scheduling principle has the following choice:
- Principle name/id
- Thing kind (WordPress article or WooCommerce merchandise )
- Thing (s) choice
- Category(es) choice
- Assignment strategy (the principle can be delegated to the chosen items/categories or all things except those chosen )
- "Children" categories (when a class has been chosen, You could assign that rule as well to its kids )
- Scheduling dates (for every scheduled period is also possible to limit visibility by user functions )
SCHEDULING DATES
For every scheduling principle, the site admin could produce distinct scheduling dates (configuring day(s), month(s), hour,...) for all that distinct HTTP (published or unpublished) could be delegated. Here just two examples of what could be achieved:
EXAMPLE 1 (WOOCOMMERCE PRODUCTS)
The store admin would love to generate a product(s) printed every day of this year between 09:00 to 18:00 and unpublished at the rest of the hours and on 25th December.
The Scheduling rules will probably likely be configured as follows:
- Create a new principle and delegate a name/id
- Select"WooCommerce merchandise" thing kind
- Select a product (s) and/or class (es)
- Produce a new date principle in which:
- HTTPS: Released
- User functions: Leave unselected
- Start date kind: Day of the week
- Days of the week: Select all of
- Months: Select all of
- Hour: 9
- Minute: 0
- Invert thing (s) HTTPS during unmatched time interval: yes
- End hour: 17
- End moment: 59
- Produce a fresh date principle in which:
- HTTPS: Unpublished
- User functions: Leave unselected
- Start date kind: Day of this month
- Days of the month: Select 25
- Months: Select"December"
- Hour: 9
- Minute: 0
EXAMPLE two (WORDPRESS POSTS)
Website admin would love to generate a post available exclusively on the days of this week and inaccessible on the rest of the days. The Scheduling rules will probably likely be configured as follows:
- Create a new principle and delegate a name/id
- Select"WordPress article" product type, product (s), and category
- Select a product (s) or class (es)
- Produce a new date principle in which:
- HTTPS: Released
- User functions: Leave unselected
- Day type: Day of the week
- Days of the week: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
- Months: Select each of
- Hour: 0
- Minute: 0
- Produce a fresh date principle in which:
- HTTPS: Unpublished
- User functions: Leave unselected
- Start date kind: Day of the week
- Days of the week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
- Months: Select all of
- Hour: 0
- Minute: 1
EXAMPLE 3 (RESTRICT PAGES ACCESS TO NON-LOGGED USERS)
Website admin would love to limit access to a page for not logged consumers, such as Shop, cart, and checkout pages. Here the way to:
- Create a new principle and delegate a name/id
- Select"Custom articles" thing type and pick"Shop","Cart, and"Checkout" pages.
- Produce a new date principle in which:
- HTTPS: Released
- User functions: Select all of
- Day type: Day of the week
- Days of the week: Select all of
- Months: Select each of
- Hour: 0
- Minute: 0
- Produce a fresh date principle in which:
- HTTPS: Released
- User functions: Select all of
- Start date kind: Day of the week
- Days of the week: Select all of
- Months: Select all of
- Hour: 23
- Minute: 59
POSTS/PRODUCTS LIST PAGE
Another helpful attribute included by the WPPS plugin is a new column called"Sceduling principle (s)" About the WordPress Posts and WooCommerce Products record page. This Way, the website admin can always understand if a scheduling principle has been delegated to a (or more) article (s)/product(s)
